Sneak Peak into the studio...

A sneak peak into the October Cork and Canvas Evenings is Powell... pay no attention to the empty wine bottles! We are having so much fun with old friends and Making lots of New Friends!

The November and December Classes are being updated and will be out soon with lots of new paintings. Also, we will have a couple holiday themed ones as well.

Don't forget, you can always Host an evening class. Bring in a group of 4-6 of your girlfriends for a special evening and the class is Free for the hostess. Just a little something we like to do to say Thanks!

Do not be afraid of painting! Jen will walk you through the classes step by step and you get to leave with your own original, as well as have a lot of fun!

Feel creative, get inspired, enjoy your new found talent, or brush up on your forgotten ones.

Looking for a fun evening out while creating your very own masterpiece? Come alone or grab a friend or two, your favorite bottle of wine or beverage, and paint a picture along with a local artist.

We provide the paint, canvas and brushes! You will have a fun evening with friends.

The Lovely Sue Brezine and Leah Grommon are showing new work at Village Artisans. This abstract show features new work by both artists in different mediums, from watercolor to acrylic.

This show will run through the end of August at Village Artisans in Yellow Springs.

Nancy, at Adore Jewels, is one of the creative jewelers featured at The Market at Serendip in Powell. Recently she helped a lovely lady create custom pieces, stay within budget, and not "compromise the quality".

Nancy's work can be seen in Powell, The Market at Serendip, or the Grandview Hops the last Saturday's of every month.

Meet Bill Felker, Bookbinder in Yellow Springs.

You can find his beautiful handcrafted and uniquely one of a kind books at Village Artisans in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Bill is such a kind artist to work with and if you stop in on a day he is there you will probably catch him working a new books, ( like I did this past Monday, poor guy had no idea I would whip out the camera and start snapping away! ) He will answer any questions you have or just chat the afternoon away with you. Bill just recieved a new, Masculine shipment of leather, which he refers to as the Harley Davidson of book binding.. SO, If you are looking for a great masculine journal for your honey this Valentine's Day, you know where to go! Something I didn't know was that if you fill up your lovely journal, he will put a new set of paper in for you! Really???? You can use these over and over!

What is amazing about a creative evening with women is their Humor and true Support of each other. Some come to an evening of wine and art with slight terror and others with absolute joy and excitement.

Questions, Doubts, Fears, Concerns, all fade as talk of the day, children, husbands, family and getting to know each other starts. Fears subside, gentle encouragement of yes, and keep going begin....
